35 and Counting

His birthday was a low-key one, with me cooking. This might turn out to be a tradition; me cooking. I prepared a typical Chinese birthday dishes on the eve and on the birthday, Korean royal cuisine.

Chinese red eggs: Eggs - New start, Red color - Prosperity & good fortune
Sweet & sour fish: Fish - Abundance & affluence
Mee Sua chicken soup: Mee Sua - Longevity

Ddukjjim (Boiled stuffed rice cakes) in the making.

Korean cuisine shouted so much aesthetic value in them.
