Under the Shade of the Banyan Tree

We spent the CNY long weekend at exploring Kathmandu. What's unfortunate was that both of us got sick - well, BF has been sick with flu and fever since the week before whilst I got sicker and sicker with the same thing plus a really nasty sore throat in Kathmandu. Having said that, although I would love to explore the city more, I couldn't wait to go home at the same time. I'm home for two days now recuperating.
Kathmandu is a beautiful city in essence, it is just being neglected. It is dirty and dusty, but surprisingly not smelly. Driving around Kathmandu, you need a totally different level of skill set. The roads are so narrow and infested with motorbikes and bicycles. And Nepali drivers LOVE to honk. I had to refrained myself from flipping my middle finger at the drivers.
We spent half a say mountain biking to Mudkhu - our ass hurt so much after. My right knee was swollen in the evening - that scared me for I worried I might not able to walk around exploring but luckily me knee healed the next day. I massaged it  bit with Burt's Bees Res-Q ointment.
Let the pictures show you what's Kathmandu.

The must-have shot of the sadhus.

ps - Coco is back.
